We are looking for a Data Science Engineer. The role of the Data Science Engineer within the markets coordination department centers around leveraging data engineering expertise to craft predictive models and solutions geared towards enhancing operations forecasting. This vital component supports dispatch operations through real-time operations and projections, furnishing indispensable insights like day-ahead load forecasts and renewable energy estimations to guide the operating strategy. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in formulating performance metrics and devising improvement tactics, which includes the refinement of existing models and supporting the evaluation of potential solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Spearheading the compilation, identification, and preparation of data for in-depth analysis and insightful visualization.Ensuring the accessibility and integrity of data by implementing mapping, cleaning, and transformation processes hence optimizing it for usage and storage, adhering to both technical and business specifications.Automating routine tasks and refining code to meet production standards.Facilitating the integration of processed data into various storage and reporting architectures, including data warehouses, live reporting systems, and analytics platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with a preference for candidates possessing over 7 years.Exposure to Purview, Snowflake, Qlik, or Tableau is advantageous.Proficient in data engineering practices.Competence in data modeling and design focused on performance and security, inclusive Exhibit a proactive approach to adopting new technologies and mastering Client methodologies.Demonstrated ability in the design and optimization of large-scale data pipelines, structures, and repositories.Proficient in SQL, Python/PySpark.Proficient in delivering engaging presentations.Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL, Java.of partitioning, indexing, views, and effective data management strategies.Excellent communication abilities.Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps.Strong collaborative nature.
