Compensation:
$160,000 - $165,000 Base Salary with the possibility of some flexibility (within reason) for highly qualified candidates, plus a 15% bonus

Role Overview:
The PTC Windchill PLM Solutions Architect will play a key role in shaping and sustaining the strategic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment to meet evolving business needs. Focusing on the architecture and operational efficiency of a PLM platform, this position requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to guide solution design, streamline processes, and ensure compliance. Candidates experienced with PTC Windchill are ideal; however, expertise in other PLM platforms with a willingness to transition to PTC Windchill will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee the technical architecture of the organization’s PLM solutions, emphasizing PTC Windchill platform management, ERP integration, and other PLM-driven initiatives, with a focus on digital transformation and smart manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect business requirements, analyze them, and develop high-level, effective solutions that meet business goals.
Conduct solution assessments to evaluate PLM architecture and identify potential improvements that support strategic business objectives.
Document and define specifications for both functional and technical components, acting as the primary liaison between business units and IT.
Guide digital transformation efforts, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to create a seamless digital thread across operations.
Manage PLM-related project updates, including regular reporting to senior management, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Lead user acceptance testing and provide ongoing technical support to ensure successful PLM implementation and adoption across teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years’ experience as a solution architect with expertise in PTC Windchill or comparable PLM platforms.
Strong understanding of PLM integrations, including experience with ERP (SAP), document and CAD management, and digital transformation initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Background in regulated industries, such as healthcare, aerospace, or defense, with knowledge of ISO and FDA (or comparable) requirements.
Proven project management abilities, strong analytical skills, and effective communication skills across departments.
Preferred Experience:
Expertise in cross-functional PLM integration frameworks and collaborative digital thread solutions.
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects.
Strong documentation, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset to foster interdepartmental partnerships.
