Job responsibilities:The service manager will operate the service department at maximum production, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining sales objectives and maintaining service recordsEnsure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective serviceServe as a liaison between technicians, the parts dept., and customersDistribute work between techniciansPrioritize required servicesEnsure customers have a positive dealership experienceMaintain accurate records; execute warranty parts retention, following all OEM requirementsTake ownership of customers' experienceManage and hire technicians and service advisorsLead improvement efforts that support annual goals for service and cost controlAssure a clean and safe working environmentMust Have Job Requirements:
3+ years as a Thermo King or Carrier Service ManagerStrong diesel repair and reefer background (8+ years)A relentless focus on customer satisfaction and follow-upGood communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment and multi-task effectivelyStrong organizational and time management skillsProfessional appearance and strong work ethicBasic computer skills (Karmak experience preferred)
