Regional Operations Marketing Director

in our Chemical Technologies business group located in

Sugar Land, Texas . This position will serve as the

Marketing and Technology Business Partner (MTBP)

and work directly with our Upstream US Land Sales Leadership as well as Marketing and Technology Leadership.This is a key management position that reports to the Director of Western Hemisphere Regional Operations for Chemical Technologies.

Marketing and Technology Business Partner (MTBP) , your primary responsibility is the understanding of our market and customer needs and values, and to deliver and execute a strategy that enables us to strengthen leadership position in the marketMain responsibilities:Collaborate with various stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goalsIdentify technology gaps by analyzing market trends and understanding customer needsManage the technology pipeline, work closely with Product Marketing and Sales teams to prioritize and develop new technology solutionsValidate the business case and commercialization plan for any product developmentDetermine overall product catalog and pricing based on market needs and pricing analytics (manage technology portfolio)Work closely with Upstream Onshore Segment Marketer to develop and ultimately execute on near-term strategies for the RegionHigh level understanding of industry trends, drivers and leading indicators. Extrapolate that knowledge to provide recommendations and high level summary to regionsPrepare sales and marketing plans for segmentUnderstand segment P&L and business financials. Combine with business specific data to make business recommendationsEvaluate adjacent technology opportunities to marketAnalyze market SWOT analysis to evaluate needs and gaps in segment portfolioPosition Details:

Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, plus 8+ years of experience in sales, technology or marketingBroad knowledge of the upstream production chemical industryDemonstration of strategic and tactical sales and marketing capabilitiesAbility to lead without assigned authorityStrong communication skills laterally, and verticallyAbility to think strategically, while also anticipating short term challenges and solutionsExperience inspiring a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to provide enhanced and/or faster service, safer working conditions and reduced risksProficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and document managementPreferred Qualifications:Excellent communication skills and ability to engage well with stakeholders to translate their needs into effective outcomes.Experience leading large global teams who have diverse range of skills and abilities, without assigned authorityExperience building and maintaining a SharePoint Online siteDetail oriented with excellent time management skillsExperience with specialty chemicals in the Oil & Gas industryKnowledge of ChampionX business and processesAbout ChampionX:ChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
