Benefits & Compensation Manager - Olathe, KS

is partnering with a client in the Olathe, KS area who is seeking a Benefits & Compensation Manager. This includes health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee benefits. You will work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure that our benefits programs are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Ideally this candidate would already have Workday software experience.
Responsibilities:Benefits Administration:Develop, implement, and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other benefits.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and cost-effective.
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and issues.
Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless administration of benefits programs.
Manage relationships with benefits vendors and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Prepare and present reports on benefits program performance and metrics to senior management.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee benefits.
Compensation:Administer salary and bonus programs for salaried employees.
Conducting job evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 7+ years of experience as a benefits Manager or in a similar role.
2+ years of Managerial experience
Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software-
Workday REQUIRED
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
