Overview
VTG is looking for a Requirements Analyst in Chantilly, VA.What will you do?
As a member of the Requirements Team, you will work with government IT applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes. You will work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement. You will translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, or standard operating procedures. You will coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements and support implementation of tools and features that meet user needs. You will coordinate with team members to support the full lifecycle of requirements management to include gathering, analyzing, verifying, and validating the needs and requirements for the client system.Do you have what it takes?
Basic Qualifications:TS/SCI with Poly Required2-8 years related experienceExperience gathering and writing business or software requirementsExperience working collaboratively with team members, government clients, and stakeholdersAbility to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problemsAbility to perform in a high paced work environment with multiple competing prioritiesExperience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPointBachelor's degree (desired)Additional Qualifications (Desired):Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty existsKnowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process and Agile developmentExperience with Microsoft VisioExperience with Agile tools, including JiraExperience with writing requirements as features or user storiesExperience with business process improvementExperience working and collaborating with technical staff and engineersExperience with systems engineering or software development
