VTG is looking for a IT Project Manager (ITPM) in Chantilly, VA.What will you do?
This role is a hybrid role of Technical PM and Agile. Candidate needs a thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and IT Project Management. AWS and S3 implementation and maintenance, and DevOps best practices in a serverless environment.Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practicesHelp the Product Owner and development team to achieve customer satisfactionLead the scrum and development teams in self-organizationRemove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impedimentsHelp the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile frameworkResolve conflicts and issues that occurSupport and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlogAssist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plansGuide team development efforts towards successful project deliveryProvide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorshipMaintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habitsIdentify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the teamParticipate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related codePackage and support deployment of releasesAim to deliver scalable frameworks and solutions to fit with customers' long-term vision and goalsTS/SCI with poly requiredDo you have what it takes?
5+ years of related IT experienceBS Degree (Technical)TS/SCI with poly requiredExperience leading scrum teams using Agile methodology and scrum practicesAbility to assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans, and guide team development efforts towards successful project deliveryProvide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorshipAWS and S3 implementation and maintenance, and DevOps best practices in a serverless environment is preferred but not required
