This role will report to the Head of Technology and will work to help shape the team's future by refining and implementing strategies, driving the evolution of policies and procedures to streamline progress, and creating a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, process-oriented, and technically skilled.8+ years of experience in IT is required, prior experience in financial services is preferred but not required.ResponsibilitiesProvide Office 365 management and administration for end-user services such as e-mail, Teams, office applications, and SSO applications.Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Servers and applicationsResponsible for setup, maintenance, and validation of all server and system backupsDisaster recovery planning and testing, including build-out of documentation and runbooksMonitoring of IT infrastructure and systems and taking proactive measures to ensure continued operationsConference room technology management & supportContinue to update and build out documentation for all IT processes and proceduresMentoring the help desk team on more complex issues that arise from end-user supportTop SkillsMicrosoft 365 (Office apps, Teams, Exchange)Microsoft Windows Server Support (Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, DFS)Microsoft Intune (MDM, MAM, Application deployment and patching)Microsoft Entra ID (Conditional Access, Hybrid identity, Single Sign-on)PlusesAWS (EC2, S3, AWS Backup)Small office networking (Meraki, VPN, Switches, Firewalls)Soft skills: organization, time management, documentation, communication, delegation and team player
