Job Description
**
General Accountabilities in this Role: **
Qualifies supplier/vendor in accordance with Company procedure.
Negotiates vendor pricing, terms and overall contracts where applicable.
Orders and expedites products to ensure timely delivery in accordance with production requirements.
Evaluates all incoming purchase orders to ensure vendors on time delivery performance.
Assures that incoming materials meet the required specifications.
Ensures that transportation or incoming materials are shipped in a safe and cost-effective manner and consistent with the company’s overall transportation policies.
Conduct ongoing evaluation of supply chain partners to determine effectiveness and engage in ongoing evaluation of potential new supply chain partners.
Lead the Purchasing Department team.

Experience and Skills: **
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field preferred.
A minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiating and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office software
