Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Sourcing Manager II to join our Transport Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and a deep understanding of Transport Networks. As a Technology Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with technology vendors to ensure the best value and quality for DISH Wireless.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, evaluate performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendor compliance.Implement sourcing strategies for Transport products and services, aligning with DISH Wireless's business goals.Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors, assess trends, and stay informed about new technologies.Lead contract negotiations with technology vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulatory and financial requirements.Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective sourcing strategies and process improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and ensure timely procurement of products and services.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related fieldMBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plusMinimum of 3 years of experience in technology procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably within the telecommunications or wireless industry
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of technology products and services, fiber optic networks, interconnection agreements, and datacentersProven experience in contract negotiation and vendor managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendorsProficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year
