The ideal candidate would be either a licensed Mechanical Engineer. As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible to focus on three main aspects: 1) Managerial leadership, 2) Technical leadership, and 3) Business development. Projects will be focused on innovative, clean energy, electrification/decarbonization projects. Position goals will include recruiting and growing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Energy Engineering presence in the region.
You will be incorporated into a team that has been provided Energy Efficiency services for over 30 years, and an Engineering and Architecture team with every necessary technical discipline inhouse. Responsibilities:
Coordination with program and department managers, design and project teams, and construction managers.Business development of clean energy projects in the geographic region.Recruiting and supporting growth of a mechanical, electrical, and energy engineering team.Mentoring of the regional clean energy engineering team.Preliminary systems assessment and high-level project strategy development.Field investigation and condition assessment of existing systems, primarily mechanical, electrical, energy systems.Assist in the development of project and proposal preparation.Development of basis of design scopes of work, schematics, and P&ID drawings.Development of implementation plans & schedules.Presentation and report writing.Meeting with clients to support engineering projects throughout design and construction.Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.PE license is required.Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or other industry related certifications a plus, but not required.Expertise in multiple technical areas of Mechanical, Electrical, and Energy Engineering.Capable and responsible for QA/QC on assigned tasks and projects.Ability to lead develop of construction documents, and support bidding and construction activities during implementation.Experience developing MEP and Energy projects.Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation.Ability to collaborate with internal staff and clients.Experience with Microsoft Office software.Experience with AutoCAD/Revit software is a plus.Experience Building modeling software is a plus.What we offer:

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000.
