EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of three years' human resources experience is required

QUALIFICATIONS Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be aggressive, strategic, and creative in filling challenging positions timely. Phone skills, recruiting, interviewing skills, people skills, employment law, results driven, professionalism, analytical skills, and critical thinking a must. Must be able to type a minimum of 45 wpm. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point). Knowledge of Human Relations strategic and operational goals required. The ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner is a must. JOB PURPOSE
The Human Relations Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for achieving staffing objectives for the Corporate Pittsburgh office, Philadelphia Regional office, and New Hampshire Regional office. This is accomplished by creatively and aggressively recruiting, evaluating and recommending qualified job candidates for hire in a timely manner through interviewing, coordination of interviews, attending offsite hiring events and community engagement as well as assisting in the new hire onboarding process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is also responsible for the onboarding of new hires, consultants, volunteers and interns, as well as offering other support to the Human Relations department as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Position will be the primary person responsible for assisting in all elements of the new hire and on-boarding processes, as well as any other supportive roles, as needed, in the Human Relations department.
Specific examples of position tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Works within the Human Relations Recruitment Gold Standard process to timely fill vacant positions within a 4-week timeframe. Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services organizations, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport by relationship building. Maintain relationships with Temporary Staffing Agencies and work with hiring departments to onboard temps accordingly. Responsible for the onboarding and execution of consultant contracts. Coordinate and attend Career Fairs and Off-Site Recruiting Events. Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting job developers, using recruitment sources, and attending job fairs. Determines applicant qualifications by conducting phone screens; analyzes responses; compares qualifications to job requirements. Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; facilitating applicant interviews; arranging building tours. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications. Assists in the creation of behavioral-based interview questions and providing assistance with the training of the management team. Manages the HRIS system for the application process for all applicants. Facilitates HRIS trainings for HR staff as updates occur. Prepares documentation for job offers and compensation packages, emphasizing benefits and perks. Responsible for conducting the Human Relations Orientation for new hires. Works closely with the Human Relations Compliance department and liaisons in Philadelphia and New Hampshire offices to ensure all compliance documents are complete and requirements are met for applicants to be hired at all sites which include references, clearances, motor vehicle reports, medical documentation and any additional documentation required. Works with HR Compliance to initiate the clearance process for identified candidates. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes the Human Relations and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Prepare Declination Letters to Candidates Internally and Externally. Responsible for assisting with the completion of monthly outcomes and reports, quarterly board reports, weekly reports and data specific reports as requested. Responsible for the facilitation of the off-boarding process for exiting staff and preparing correspondence accordingly. Must be willing to travel at least 20% of the time. Responsible for employee satisfaction analysis and retention processes. Other duties as assigned.
