We are looking for an experienced and skilled Tier 1 & 2 IT Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling more complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving advanced hardware, software, and network issues, as well as providing high-quality customer service. Duties and Responsibilities:
Advanced Microsoft 365 / Entra / Intune : Deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune.Documentation : Create and update detailed documentation on troubleshooting procedures, issue resolutions, and system configurations.Remote Deployments & Support:
Provide remote support to users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.Onsite Deployments & Support:
Hardware and software deployments and support onsite at client locations.Project Support : Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.Incident Management : Manage and track escalated incidents through to resolution, ensuring timely updates and communication with end-users.Security and Compliance : Ensure all support activities are conducted in accordance with company security policies and industry compliance standards.Performance Monitoring : Assist in monitoring and optimizing the performance of IT systems, identifying potential issues before they impact users.Minimum Qualifications:
Education : Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferredExperience : 3-5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Tier 1 & 2 or higher-level support rolesCertifications : CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar certifications are preferredTechnical Skills:
Proficient in Windows operating systems. (MacOS is a bonus but not required)Strong knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)Experience with Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)Experience with Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access points, VLAN's, VPNs, and overall layer 1-3 networkingProficient in management and configuration of Microsoft Office 365, Entra, Intune, and Azure Cloud Server infrastructure. (Limited Azure Cloud Virtual Server Infrastructure is ok)Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks
