GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Director of Reconciliations and Business Office Support is responsible for overseeing the College's various business office tasks and bank reconciliations. This includes managing the College's unclaimed property reporting, aged receivables, and other functions performed by individual campus business offices. This position is also responsible for managing the College's bank reconciliations, including the completion of select account reconciliations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
ReconciliationsManage the College's bank reconciliations, ensuring that all processes and policies adhere to the latest audit requirements.
Educate and build awareness of reconciliations across the College.
Review and approve reconciliations performed by the Reconciliation Specialist.
Complete the reconciliation for select accounts, including but not limited to the College's investment accounts and Federal Aid accounts.
Manage and review reconciliations performed by campus staff and Systems Office departments.
Coordinate with the Finance Center of Agility and the Cash Management team to optimize Workday for reconciliations and other functions.
Business Office Support
Assist in the development, implementation, and continuously improvement of the College's policies, standards, training, and procedures for its business offices.
Manage the College's reporting of unclaimed property and aged receivables.
Manage and develop the College's review of its credit balance reporting, ensuring students are receiving a refund, if necessary, in a timely manner.
Assist in the management of the College's third-party servicer for student refunds, including the annual verification and attestation.
Supervise the Business Office Support Specialist, who is responsible for processing returned items and individual student requests.
Cash Management
Serve as the backup for the Cash Management and Banking team.

HIRING RANGE:
$70,000 - $75,000 Dependent on education, skills, and experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
Two or more years' experience in accounting or banking is required.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Experience with Workday Finance is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Must be able to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Have a strong foundation in customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
