JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of Aleut programs and projects. They will have a vital role in coordinating the efforts of various teams within The Aleut Corporation (Aleut) to ensure the successful delivery of programs and projects.

This is a two (2) level job progression in which there is complexity, accountability that the Program Manager is directly responsible for progressively more responsible and independent work experiences as part of the overall assessment of their ability and capability. Progression between job levels is based on performance on prior assignments and the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESEmbrace the values of Aleut including honesty, integrity, accountability, respect, and perseverance.Develop and implement a comprehensive program strategy, including defining goals, deliverables, and success criteria.Manage, coordinate, and lead cross-functional program and project teams to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and execution.Monitor and control program and project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues to meet program and project objectives.Manage and coordinate the operation of departments to confirm that assigned programs and projects are completed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.Manage and report on risk to programs and projects.Take proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates on program and project status and addressing any concerns or challenges.Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, standardizing processes, and recommending enhancements to project management methodologies.Develop and manage program and project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient cost control.Conduct regular program and project reviews and evaluations, identifying lessons learned and implementing improvements for future efforts.Forecast potential schedule delays and adjust program or project schedule accordingly.Perform other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree in business or related field; OR equivalent education and experience.Two (2) years of experience in program and project management.PMP Certification.PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations.
