Summary:

The Director of Supply Chain will oversee the entire supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and order fulfillment, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and market demands, including sustainability initiatives and risk management plans. Partner with engineering to ensure timely and accurate communication between departments for new product roll outs, engineering changes and bill of material creation within the ERP. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supply chain management, strong leadership skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Essential Functions:Strategic Planning:Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.Optimize processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.Team Leadership:Manage supply chain teams, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.Foster collaboration and communication across functions.Supplier Management:Oversee supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance.Ensure timely and quality product delivery.Risk Management:Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., disruptions, shortages).Implement contingency plans.Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes.Implement best practices and technology solutions.Budgeting and Cost Control:Develop and manage supply chain budgets.Monitor expenses and optimize spending.Metrics and Reporting:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance.Use data analytics to drive improvements.Cross Functional:Collaborate with all departments including sales, engineering and product management to ensure alignment of supply chain initiativesSupport new product launches and product modifications through supply chain planning

Required Qualifications:

Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.Analytical skills: Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Communication and collaboration: Effective communication with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.Negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.Technology proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.Work Environment:

Required Education & Experience:Education:A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field is often required.Some employers may prefer candidates with a master's degree or an MBA.Experience:Extensive experience in supply chain management, preferably in progressively responsible roles.Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and overseeing complex supply chain operations.Familiarity with global supply chain dynamics, including sourcing, procurement, production, transportation, and distribution.Experience in the gaming manufacturing industry.Certifications:Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certifications can enhance qualifications.
