The business lines are ranging from Monetization Technology, Data, Machine Learning, System, Infrastructure, AR Effects, Security Technology and more.---About the teamThe TikTok Privacy Product team's goal is to meet all of our privacy and compliance requirements while providing the best user experience to consume, create, and enjoy content on TikTok. As part of the team, the product manager will focus on building new product solutions to comply with global regulations related to user empowerment and responsibility.

This high-speed role demands extensive complex problem-solving across global markets, coupled with a tireless entrepreneurial spirit. You'll be shaping the landscape of the product strategy for building a secure platform and leading the product strategy to ensure a secured and empowered user experience. The position requires a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, sharp analytical skills, effective interpersonal abilities, and a creative mindset. It entails navigating through complex challenges characterized by ambiguous requirements.

Within the US product team, your focus will be on deeply understanding our users, identifying areas for improvement, prioritizing critical issues, and swiftly devising innovative user-centric solutions. We are looking for experienced product managers who continuously push the privacy bar while further enhancing new and existing user experiences.---Responsibilities- Play a pivotal role in shaping product strategies to meet the evolving global legal and regulatory requirements of the tech industry.- Partner with the legal department to define and prioritize product requirements based on new laws and regulations as well as emerging regulatory trends.- Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product compliance projects.- Develop and implement scalable privacy product solutions that support various teams within the organization and enhance overall operational efficiency.- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, excellence, innovation, and continuous development by ensuring alignment on shared organizational goals and promoting best practices across teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications- Familiarity with data privacy and social media laws, with experience working with legal departments to drive compliance and regulatory projects.- Strong strategic planning skills with a product-solution-oriented mindset, able to adapt quickly to changes and navigate through ambiguity.- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate assumptions, make recommendations and decisions, and drive execution.- Demonstrated deep understanding of project management with a hands-on, down-to-earth spirit.- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create a vision and rally an organization around it.- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while balancing multiple responsibilities, scoping projects, evaluating priorities, and effectively working well within a team---Preferred Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in product management in consumer-facing tech companies---TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
