IPL's 4500 employees also manufacture and market industrial chemicals and fertilizer products & services to customers around the world.What You'll DoAs a Senior Manager of Procurement, you will negotiate and manage supply and service purchase orders and contracts for the Business in North America for both Opex and Capex. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery of effective capital, shutdown, services and operational spare parts procurement for designated sites. Other duties include:Review MRO and service spend at a regional level for nominated categories and determine appropriate contracting models, deriving volume synergies where possible, whilst balancing and maintaining local service levels.Manage the negotiation process for key supply agreements within the region / plant.Together with local buyers ensure timely delivery of all materials and services in support of manufacturing and / or operations.Develop project plans, deliverables, metrics and milestones.Act as functional representative within plant providing link between manufacturing, operations and the Strategic Procurement GroupWork with internal customers to fully understand their procurement needs and ensure that these are delivered through the larger Procurement network.Act as change agent on behalf of Procurement to implement solutions and processes as developed by the centralised procurement capability group.Collaborate with manufacturing and operational mangers to establish short-term and long-term business objectives.Develop strong, customer focused relationships with key stakeholders.Manage effective transactions processes for all categories of spend in line with Global Procurement PolicyManage process to ensure timely delivery of all products and services to meet operational requirements.Manage compliance and governance processes in Procurement in line with internal and external audit requirements.Line management of Specialist(s) and Senior Specialist(s) Procurement - Dyno Nobel Americas
What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain/Procurement with five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.MBA or Finance Specialization Preferred10+ years experience in contract negotiation, Team leadership and in a large manufacturing organizationDetailed knowledge and understanding of Operational, Capital and contractingStrategic negotiation skills, with a focus on supplier engagementEffective communication and influencing skills with both external service providers and key internal stakeholdersStrong computer skills in Microsoft office and SAPPositive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
