IPL's 4500 employees also manufacture and market industrial chemicals and fertilizer products & services to customers around the world.What You'll DoAs a Plant Controller, you will be the primary finance business partner for the Louisiana, Missouri Site. You will be responsible for supporting plant operations, supply and logistics functions. This positions also provides financial support to the Regional Nitrogen Manufacturing management and engineering functions. Other duties include:Deliver insightful financial reporting, analysis and guidance to facilitate strategy development and management decisionsOptimize site production mix, identify and communicate risks and opportunities, and maintain a strong internal control framework.Provide transparency and drive alignment across operations and global manufacturing functions.Develop singular message for drivers impacting manufacturing resultParticipate in the creation of the LOMO site operational and capital strategiesProvide comprehensive variance analysis, including identification of gaps, trends and opportunities, and recommendations for possible course corrections necessary to achieve financial targetDrive increased forecast accuracy for plant operations, inventory and capital expenditureOversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Analysis toolsCoordinate the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts including evaluation of site overhead cost allocations
What We're Looking For:Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance required - CPA or CMA certification desirable7+ years with progressively increasing responsibility and demonstrated strong analytical abilityExperience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
SAP, Microsoft Suite with advanced proficiency in Excel and BW Analysis functionality, budget/forecasting modeling toolsSelf-starter, able to work independently and achieve results through othersWork effectively in a matrix organization
