Senior Manager, Strategy & Partnerships
Brand Strategy & Partnership Division:
The Go to Market function is critical for high performing, marketing led organizations to successfully bring a product, experience or service to market by combining all paid, owned and earned channels of the brand. The GTM team acts as the bridge between brand strategy, product development and the market, ensuring that the right product reaches the right customers through effective strategies and tactics.
For 2024 introduced this critical function to David Yurman to advance how we develop and execute strategies to introduce, promote, and sell our brand and products. This function is highly collaborative with various departments across Marketing (multiple areas), eComm, Retail, Visual, Creative, Product etc., It requires translation of the Brand Strategy, developing cohesive Campaign vision, and steering xFN partners to deliver against this for a clear, highly effective plan.
Senior Manager. Brand Strategy & Partnerships
The Sr Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering successful brand moments and campaigns that amplify David Yurman brand. Leveraging experience in the US and in key international markets, you will focus on translating Brand Strategy and partnerships to clear GTM briefs, advance creative pre-testing, define execution plans and track campaign performance for optimization.
You will focus on optimizing brand awareness and elevation via maximizing audience and market reach, reflecting and evolving creative and media best practices, and delivering real-time performance reports and insights that allow optimizations in flight for paid, earned and owned. This role also allows leadership in re/defining and shaping the processes and workflows and collaboration w/ various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
•
Go-to-Market Strategic Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for brand activations and partnership campaigns including but limited to philanthropy, product collaborations, pop ups, sponsorships ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends. This requires comprehensive 360 plans outlining how the activations will be amplified or launched, promoted, in the market. This involves setting goals, defining messaging, and identifying channels for reaching customers.

Partnership Positioning + Messaging:
Working w/ the strategy, Insights / Intelligence, and Creative teams to craft a compelling narrative around the activations unique value proposition and benefits to resonate with the target audience.

Partnership Executions
Oversee the execution of sponsorship agreements, ensuring all deliverables are met and expectations exceeded. Working closely with legal and partners on LOI and contracts.

Develop Marketing Campaigns per Channel:
Develop clear marketing strategies to execute the brand campaigns across all critical customer facing channels including paid advertising, social, site, CRM (email etc.), Retail, Loyalty / VIC and more.

Project Leadership to Execution:
Lead and manage brand and partnership launches from inception to market entry, coordinating cross-functional teams, defining timelines and setting clear objectives. Orchestrate the launch of the final launch of the activation, monitoring its performance, and iterating on strategies based on feedback and market response.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with strategy marketing, Integrated marketing, agency partners, creative team to develop innovative and engaging plans and execution of brand activations.

Customer Engagement:
Developing strategies to engage, recruit and retain customers through activations (IRL and digitally).
• Sales Enablement:
Work with L&D and Retail to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively communicate on the activations, including sales collateral, training materials, and competitive information if/when relevant to the activation.
• Market Expertise:
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the US market to identify growth opportunities, target segments and competitive positioning.

Market Intelligence:
work with internal Strategic Analytics teams and external Agencies (media etc) to unlock critical insights that increase understanding of the target audience, market trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape the partnership execution and/or messaging. Consistently develop advanced customer insights to tailor strategies that resonate with the unique needs and preferences of our customers.
• Market Research:
Identify hypothesis to improve performance across Creative, Audience, Channel, Tactical Media etc. levers. Work with Insights / Intelligence and/or xFN partners (e.g., eComm) to build test/learn plan pre and during campaigns. Extract insights to optimize mid-flight and to guide future campaigns. Develop and implement NEW Creative Pre-Testing approach.
• Performance Measurement:
Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the success of go-to-market initiatives, and iterate on strategies based on data-driven insights. Work with Strategic Analytics to track performance and insights across all cross functional teams, and identify optimizations mid-flight, and for next campaign.
• Budget Management:
Manage go-to-market brand & partnerships budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
Requirements
• 7+ years Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Partnerships or related field
• Strong track record of managing product launches and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in activations and brand partnerships
• Highly creative thinker with strong luxury brand understanding
• Exceptional analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Estimate Salary Range:
$130,000 - $145,000
Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
