POSITION SUMMARY
LBMC Technology Solutions is currently seeking a junior level
Support Engineer/Admin
to add to the team in the Nashville or Knoxville office. Qualified candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, high levels of integrity and the ability to communicate technical knowledge to an individual's capacity for understanding. The right person for this role must be capable of maintaining focus, completing task loads and responding to customer requests in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Candidates should have experience supporting Windows Server and desktop environments and Apple products. Experience with firewalls, cloud technologies (i.e. Office 365, AWS, Azure) and networking is a plus.
PRIMARY DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIESRemote client interaction and infrequent onsite visitsAssist clients with support cases.Performance monitoring and remediation for clients' systemsUtilize monitoring, remote control, management and other tools to support clients.End user computer setups and imagingSupport and troubleshoot security and firewall-based solutionsSupport and troubleshoot cloud-based solutionsDeploy and support various applications, as needed by clients.QUALIFICATION | SKILLS
2+ years Information Technology experience requiredExperience with Windows Server/Active Directory supportMicrosoft and general IT certifications are a plusExperience with end user support and excellent interpersonal skills is requiredAbility to perform required tasks with minimal supervisionThrives in a dynamic work environmentCan work well individually and in a team environmentApple support experience is requiredAttention to detail, integrity and well-developed time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic understanding of TCP/IP networking, such as: IP addressing, subnet masks, basic IP routing, TCP/UDPSupport of backup solutions; on premise and cloud based.HIGHLIGHT OF LBMC'S BENEFITS | PERKS
