JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the overall health of IT systems including switches, routers, and firewalls Responsible for all cybersecurity configurations, monitoring, and reporting Responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of all IT network infrastructure to include servers, storage, virtualization, and security Research problems or errors within the IT network infrastructure and recommend the proper course of action for recovery or repair Responsible for the integrity of all server backup and restoration operations Develop and implement standards for workstation operating system installations to ensure system capability and security controls are in place Responsible for maintaining network/system monitoring software Performs systems diagnostics on a routine basis to identify potential deficiencies within the IT Systems Proposes and implements capital projects to improve the IT operation. Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team. Performs all other duties as assigned. Promotes outstanding customer relations. Responsible for training and assisting all other Systems personnel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum seven (7) years in IT and Computer Industry Experience managing Microsoft Windows Systems, UNIX, Linux, and midrange operating environments Extremely Strong experience with Cisco WAN and LAN equipment and software, at the CCNP level Strong experience with VLANs, switching/routing (IOS and Nexus) is mandatory Strong experience with security software (Cisco Endpoint Security, Cisco Umbrella, Veronis, etc.) Troubleshooting experience is a MUST Experience with Antivirus software (Trend Micro) Experience with VPN technologies (Cisco AnyConnect) Experience with storage systems (local and cloud) Strong experience with Virtual Environments (VMware V-Sphere, Hyper-V) Strong verbal and written communication skills required Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including weekends and holidays
