Network Engineer/Security

Our client located in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Network Engineer that has dabbled in IT Security and wants to take their career down the Security path. This person will mainly be responsible for the overall Security of the company as well as ad hoc tasks in Systems and Network Engineering. This includes troubleshooting issues, developing security standards and procedures, monitoring server infrastructure and creating phishing campaigns. Qualifications 5+ years in a Security Engineer role Strong background in Cisco IOS - CCNP a plus Understanding of Routers and Switches Ability to develop best practices and security standards Expert with multifactor authentication (Duo a plus) Proficient in SIEM Experience with Firewalls Understanding of Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Management Ability to jump in on projects as needed Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder This is a hybrid role that will require you to be in the office 1 day a week or as needed.
