The Carrier team is looking for a Commodity Management & Sourcing Intern for our Spring 2025 Cohort from January 2025 – April 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy Development: Support category strategy for Aftermarket parts, aligned with the organization's overall procurement and business objectives.
Supplier Management: Coordinate supplier identification, evaluation, selection, localization, and relationship activities.
Cost Optimization: Evaluate cost reduction initiatives and continuously monitor market dynamics to capitalize on cost-saving opportunities within the Aftermarket parts HVAC category without compromising quality.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Planning, WHQ Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Operations, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.
Supplier Performance Management: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, evaluate their performance regularly, and work collaboratively to address any performance issues.
Required Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and/or Business
3.0 or higher GPA
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Highly proficient in Excel
Sourcing /Supply Chain for Aftermarket
ERP system experience including SAP and Power BI for reporting and analytics
