A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Principal Business Systems Analyst at MKS, you will partner with Information Technology group to Analyze, Design, Plan, Configure, Develop, Test, and Deploy Oracle Planning & Operations modules. In this role, you will report to the Sr. IT Manager, Oracle EBS.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Provide Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations functional leadership leveraging business process, Oracle configuration and optimal usage expertise.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations and IT in the global design, development, and deployment and expansion of the organization's Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite of applications.
Support the Supply Chain and Operations end-user community by providing research, analysis and problem resolution to team members.
Actively demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement focused on end user productivity, and enterprise process integration.
Work with various business groups in the organization to facilitate cross-functional implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all IT-related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.
Effectively manage the IT change control process, gathering the end-user requirements, preparing functional specifications and communicating IT priorities and delivery status to the business.
Travel Requirements: 10%.
Skills You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or other 4-year degree focusing on Information Technology
7+ years in a discrete manufacturing industry setting and information technology experience
Experience working in Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite Purchasing, Inventory, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, BOM, Routing and WIP modules
Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies
Be dissatisfied with status quo with a thirst to introduce change
Energetic team player with a can-do attitude
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
Must be able to exchange accurate information •
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
Noise level in the work environment is usually average
