A day in your life at MKS:We are looking for an exceptional Director, Procurement for North America who can manage a team of procurement managers that drive day-today procurement of materials and services in alignment with the materials plan and company goals. You will have regional responsibility for the full Procurement process and will ensure supply continuity.You will make an impact by:Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for the North America regionLeading and managing a team of procurement professionals to ensure efficient and effective procurement activitiesCollaborates with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliersMonitors supplier performance and manages the procurement process from request to delivery and paymentEvaluates market trends to enhance procurement practices and build relationships with stakeholders and suppliersEnsures compliance with policies and procedures, manage procurement budget, and provide regular reporting to senior managementSkills you bring:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering; Masters preferred10+ years of experiencing leading the strategy and teams within Global Category, Sourcing or Procurement ManagementExperience with SAP or Oracle ERP, requiredExperience managing multifunctional, multicultural global teamsExceptional oral and written communication skills to build supporting networksInterpersonal and leadership skills with executive level presentation proficiencyWe are interested in a qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we will not be sponsoring work visas for this position, at this time.Compensation and Benefits:Salary Pay Range: $200,000 to $250,000 per year.
