Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview-

Through our partnership with U niversity of Mass achusetts Lowell , MKS Instruments is seeking an exceptional Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join the team.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Work with our Engineering team to complete the development of cutting-edge pressure measurement devices
- Dig into and understand the tradeoffs in a complicated precision system that will require large scale manufacturing
- With guidance take a problem and conceptualize, design and test viable solutions to the problem
Required Skills:
- Enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree program at University of Mass achusetts Lowell
- Mechanical: Interest in mechanical design, thermal systems and/or design for production
- Electrical: Interest in analog circuitry
- Hands on experience or interest is preferred
- Qualified candidates should be US Persons
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 to $29.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
