A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Software Engineer at Ophir, you will partner with the software development team to design, develop and test laser profiling systems. In this role, you will report to Brad Christensen, Mgr, Software Development.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Participating in design and planning meetings
Creating innovative solutions to solve customer\industry needs
Developing working code for various measurement tools
Testing and verifying new and existing features
Supporting resolution of customer found bugs/issues
Being part of an exciting team environment
No Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
CS major (or higher)
Basic understanding of code development (C# preferred)
Understanding of data structures and Object-Oriented Design/Development
Algorithm development
Above average math skills
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
Basic laser concepts and understanding
Image processing
Coding and str*ucture for optimization
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Ability to endure extended periods of time sitting/standing in front of a computer, in an
Office environment
