JOB SUMMARY :

The Sr. Systems Administrator plays a pivotal role in advancing our client's Backoffice innovation. We are looking for an experienced systems administrator to help drive the organization into the future.

QUALIFICATIONS:

7+ years' experience in a Systems Administrator roleKnowledge of Meraki Switches and WAPS, network connectivity, network services, and network securityHands-on experience of managing Microsoft Azure, Entra, O365, Windows Operating Systems, Windows Domains, Active Directory, and Group Policy in addition to Windows PC, mobile devices, and peripheralsExperience patching Operating Systems and applications, firmware upgrade, and Cybersecurity tools.Oversee the coordination with IT department regarding installations and configurations of LAN, WAN, VLAN's, SDWAN and related devices.Plan, coordinate, and manage the implementation of company-wide server short- and long-term strategy in areas such as capacity planning, upgrade paths and service levels.Coordinates the backup and disaster recovery plans with IT, external vendors, and other functional leads.Act as a liaison between vendors, technical support, and departments to resolve complex system and network problems. Coordinate and implement corrective measuresAbility to perform in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities.Highly organized and communicative, especially in the development of actions plans and to ensure accountability and follow-through.Security knowledge optimizing Multi-Factor Authorization; watching/remediating results

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the configuration and management of the IT infrastructure to support requirements in areas such as data retention, security, business continuity, disaster recovery planning/testing and information risk management.Participate in projects related to responsibilities; may serve as a technical project lead on occasions.Recognize problems, develop recommendations and solutions, and oversee correction within assigned specialty.Selection, development, retention, interviews, appraisals, and identifying training needs for staff.Staying current on technology trends and communicating these trends with the appropriate staff.Liaise between end users and network administration staff to maximize network/systems utilization.Oversee the configuration and management of the IT infrastructure to support requirements in areas such as data retention, security, business continuity, disaster recovery planning/testing and information risk management.Analyze product life cycles to help develop the IT budget.Ability to perform in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities.Highly organized and communicative, especially in the development of actions plans and to ensure accountability and follow-through.Helps establish standards for voice and telecom devices (video conferencing, mobile/wireless)Oversee the user account management and development and deployment of patches within Windows environment as well as VMWare environment.Work with the team to transition to Microsoft Azure.Oversee installs, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security file and database servers. Ensure that server uptime is meeting business requirements.Provide security insight and guidance to other functional groups within the company to reduce unnecessary risk.Provide practical security best-practice guidance to company -wide networking initiatives.Monitors and enforces security procedures.
