Program Manager - Employee Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive employer engagement strategies, managing on-campus recruiting programs, and fostering relationships with employers and alumni to create valuable internship and job opportunities for students. Oversees the planning and coordination of recruitment events, information sessions, and networking opportunities, while also managing employer relationships through tools like Handshake and CRM software. Collaborates with internal stakeholders, external partners, and community organizations to enhance student and employer engagement, as well as staying informed about industry trends and labor market demands to inform career development strategies.Responsible for developing an employer engagement strategy, managing on-campus recruiting programs, and employer-related activities tailored to employers. Responsible for growing and managing employer relationships to create student internships and job opportunities. Develop relationships with alums that will lead to internship and employment opportunities for students.Manages employer relationships tools/software such as handshake and employer CRM.Plans, coordinates, and markets on-campus recruitment events and helps coordinate the logistics and scheduling of information sessions, on-campus interviews, class presentations, and networking events hosted by the career center featuring alums and employer representatives. Plans and coordinates student and alum visits to employer sites.Participates in policy and process development regarding employer outreach, communication and consulting, and on-campus recruiting initiatives. Maintain awareness of all policies, policies, laws, and relations related to employer hiring and develop systems and policies around employer engagement and recruiting.Manages relationships with faculty, student organizations, and other key internal and external stakeholders to grow student and employer engagement.Responsible for all aspects of the employer sponsorship program, including fundraising marketing and tracking deliverables.Liaison with external community partners, such as chambers of commerce, economic development boards, and other employment-focused entities.Maintain awareness of all policies, policies, laws, and relations related to employer hiring, develop systems and policies around employer engagement and recruiting.Supervises professional and support staff, establishes goals and professional development expectations, and evaluates performance.Stay informed about industry trends, labor market demands, and emerging career paths to inform career development strategies.Supports the online job and internship posting process and makes critical decisions during the review process to ensure all postings adhere to office and campus policies.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience.Desired Qualifications
