Manages the day-to-day operations and objectives of the Peer Advising Program. Assumes responsibility for the overall success of the program using skills in planning, training and development, assessment initiatives, and managing student leaders and graduate assistants/interns.Manages and administers the operational activities associated with the Peer Advising Program to meet departmental and university goals and objectives.Establishes priorities, assigns functions, and assures compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and standards as it relates to the Peer Advising ProgramParticipates in the recommendation of strategic planning, staffing decisions, policy development, and other key areas as it relates to the Peer Advising Program.Designs and implements a curriculum of training and development for the Peer Advising Program to achieve specific learning outcomes.Assists with the design, implementation, and management of the Micro- credential. Incorporates the training and development into Foundations of Orientation Leadership Micro-credential.Recruits, selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates new and returning student orientation leaders annually and graduate assistants and/or practicum students for Peer Advising and Panther Camp.Assists with recruitment, selection, and training for summer interns in accordance with the Division of Academic and Student Affairs and NODA Intern processes and procedures.Develops partnerships throughout the University to attain program goals and objectives. Participates in various Division, campus, and university committees and represents the Peer Advising Program and the department at various community and student functions.Serves as liaison between the Peer Advisor Program participants and the university community.Participates with senior managers to develop budget plans for the program and monitors expenditures and revenues, as necessary.Oversees the monitoring, composing, and preparing of correspondences, memorandums, manuals, and reports.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience.Desired Qualifications

Experience working in Orientation and Family Programs, Student Affairs, or Higher Education preferred.Experience supervising a team or project.Job Category
