VMWARE VIRTUALIZATION ENGINEER (TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED)

Our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator, is hiring for a VMware Virtualization Infrastructure Engineer in Springfield VA.
This roles is onsite.
Hours 10am-6pm.
They will be able to eventually move to a 980 schedule (working 9 days every two weeks, 8 – 9 hour days and one 8 hour day.
Experience in installing, configuring, and managing our VMware (Omnissa) infrastructure, to include vSphere
Perform remote management of ESXi hosts, servers, and VMs, to include multiple vSphere Upgrades from version 6.x to 8.x.
Utilize tools in the virtual environment, to include, vRealize Operations Manager(vRops) and vRealize Log Insight, which is now Aria Operations.
Develop and maintained automation scripts, utilizing PowerCLI, resulting in a reduction in manual effort and an increase in efficiency.
Provide technical support and training to users through support tickets, with an overall improvement in user satisfaction.
Maintain security policies and procedures for our vSphere environment, resulting in compliance with DISA regulations.
Monitor and troubleshooted our vSphere environment for performance and availability.
Implement SSL and other Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security technologies to secure communication between servers and applications.
