Job Description

The Associate Director – Customer Engagement and Injector Training, BOTOX® SMD is accountable for developing, executing and managing Customer educational program offerings and leading HCP engagement planning within BOTOX® SMD focused on Spasticity & Cervical Dystonia. This position will partner with national and regional societies and organizations to enhance Allergan’s presence at society meetings. In this role, the Associate Director fosters strong relationships with marketing teams, physicians/EEs, the sales force and external vendors. They will collaborate closely with the brand directors, product managers, and agency partners to create innovative and best-in-class customer engagement, education and training initiatives that drive product utilization and sales. The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas: working in a multi-faceted high-paced matrix environment, strategic marketing plan development and execution, budget development and oversight, effective communication skills, ability to multi-task and consistently manage multiple projects.

Main Areas of Responsibilities:

• Develops program offerings, format and execution of customer education/training programs, online education, training tools and resources. This role is responsible for the evolution of training program architecture that aligns with the brand team goals and objectives. The Associate Director collaborates with brand teams, and agency partners to create innovative, best-in-class education initiatives that drive product utilization and sales. Responsible for taking a proactive approach in anticipating new trends in medical education and implements new training initiatives and programs as needed. Responsible for budget development and oversight.

• Manages multiple training platforms and creates annual strategic education marketing plan that aligns with brand team and sales objectives. Creates monthly reports and provides program effectiveness analysis. Evaluates and facilitates program changes or enhancements. Works closely with the speaker/trainer bureau on program content and format. Responsible for managing the speaker’s bureau, contracting, training meetings, ensuring compliant program execution and program adherence. Gains insights from speakers and sales force on training program enhancements and leads both internal and external advisory boards for the purpose of evolving education and training offerings. Responsible for managing department training budget and materials. Works cross-functionally and aligns on process and procedures related to training programs. Travel to selected training programs is required.

• Develops effective working relationships with sales force, key physicians and APPs, brand teams and executive leadership. Stays abreast of product knowledge and industry trends as related to Neuroscience.

• Partners with HCP brand leads for to help identify digital and non-personal promotion opportunities

• Partners with brand leads to share best-practices and innovative opportunities for reaching healthcare professional customers through integrated multi-channel programs

Qualifications

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years combined of marketing, physician education, and sales training experience

• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Financial/budgetary experience

• Demonstrated ability to drive change management

• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to optimize customer experience.

• Strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

• Ability to travel

Education

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

Salary: $133,500 - $253,500
