in young livesA Day in the Life of a Childcare Site DirectorAs the

Childcare Site Director , you will oversee the

day-to-day operations

of a YMCA

childcare program , ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for the children. You'll

manage staff ,

coordinate activities , and maintain

compliance

with all local, state, and YMCA regulations. Your leadership will contribute to the YMCA's

mission of youth development

and

community engagement .Responsibilities include :Manage childcare operations

and weekly program sessionsSupervise childcare staff

and ensure effective parent communicationMaintain records such as

attendance , payments, and incident reportsEnsure

safety standards

are met and maintain a clean environmentPlan and coordinate special activities, events, and field tripsOversee compliance with

state childcare regulations

and YMCA policiesRequirements and Qualifications :Associate's degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related fieldMinimum of two years of experience in

childcare administration

or supervisionMust be 18 years of age or olderCPR, First Aid, AED certifications (or willing to obtain within 60 days)Strong leadership, organizational, and

communication skillsEither at least 18 credits in a degree relevant to child development or have a New York State Children's Program Administrator Credential or School-Age Child Care CredentialAbility to work onsite Part-timeAbout the Hiring Company :The YMCA is a renowned
