The YMCA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Learning Director to drive excellence in our Early Childhood programs, working under the guidance of the Branch Officer. This leadership role oversees the development, promotion, organization, and evaluation of YMCA childcare initiatives, ensuring high standards and an enriching experience for both children and staff. As a leader at the Y, you'll be a part of a culture that champions inclusivity, positivity, and individual growth. We are committed to strengthening communities, and our core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring shape everything we do.

In this role, you will recruit, train, and supervise a team of exceptional childcare professionals, inspiring them to serve as role models and uphold the YMCA's high standards of excellence. You'll lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curricula, and will oversee both new and existing programs, ensuring they meet licensing standards and YMCA quality benchmarks. Your responsibilities will also include managing budgets, monitoring program revenue, and ensuring all locations meet or exceed safety and risk management requirements. Regular collaboration with parents, program partners, and community stakeholders will be essential, as will a commitment to fostering positive, open communication.

In addition to managing Early Childhood programs, the Early Learning Director will also oversee school-aged programs and camps, including recruitment and training of afterschool staff, developing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining safety standards across all programs. This role is ideal for a leader with a degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Development, or a CDA and extensive experience in the field. A history of achieving program growth, coupled with a deep commitment to the YMCA mission, will be key to your success. Additional requirements include the ability to lift 25 pounds, a valid driver's license, and CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Join us in making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families in our community. The YMCA offers an environment that values teamwork, supports professional growth, and provides the opportunity to make a difference. If you're dependable, presentable, embody our values, and thrive in a collaborative setting, we'd love to welcome you to our team!
