We seek an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Service Manager to join our team and help lead the service department.

Job Summary:The Assistant Automotive Service Manager will assist the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient workflow. The role involves managing service technicians, maintaining service schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and customer interactions.Support the Service Manager in achieving departmental goals, including revenue targets and customer satisfaction metrics.Ensure all service team members adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards.Work closely with technicians to ensure timely and accurate vehicle repairs and maintenance.Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to vehicle pickup.Help coordinate warranty work and communicate with manufacturers and extended warranty companies.Oversee the accurate documentation of repair orders, service reports, and customer communication.Assist in training and mentoring service advisors and technicians to improve efficiency, technical skills, and customer service.Monitor the performance of the service team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.Participate in hiring and onboarding new service staff as needed.Qualifications:

Previous experience in an automotive service role, with a proven track record of leadership and customer service excellence.Prior experience in a supervisory or management position within a dealership service department is preferred.Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to manage a fast-paced work environment.Proficient in dealership management software and service scheduling systems.ASE certification or equivalent experience is a plus.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Benefits:
