Company Description
Reporting to the Sr. Category Advisor, you will play an important role on our Walmart Category Advisor Team by providing strategic analytics, shopper insights and modular expertise while supporting one of the fastest growing and dynamic categories in the Food and Beverage industry. You will have advanced working knowledge of all the resources required to complete and present category development related projects. Resources include syndicated scan (Circana/Nielsen), advanced JDA, planogram/matrix automation and retailer transaction/loyalty data (i.e., Luminate), BI/Tableau reporting, and Numerator. You will provide reporting and JDA space support and act as the Category Management resource on our Walmart category advisor team.
Job Description
CUSTOMER ANALYSIS
Assist the Energy Drink Category Advisor team support the Walmart buyer with the modular process
Create modulars in JDA (i.e., product libraries, custom highlights, labels, and tables)
Maintain store and item master trait lists and communication with relevant Walmart teams
Use planogram automation processes (Engine, Shelf IQ) while driving shopper-centric planograms
Create category and shopper presentations, founded on research to achieve category and retailer goals using the best industry tools (Mintel, Kantar, Luminate, Circana, and Numerator)
Measure and communicate results from in-store and online category programs
CATEGORY AND BRAND ANALYTICS
Apply third-party research resources to inform and direct strategy for the channel and the category
Work with our Shopper and Consumer insights teams to identify important shopper groups or purposes at Walmart
Create and interpret reports, turning insights into action that support Walmart's category development strategy
Support Walmart buying team needs
Qualifications
2+ years related work experience
Experience using data/analysis to tell a story
Broad general knowledge of the CPG industry
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, slicers, and formulas to automate reports
JDA space planning software experience required
Retailer-facing experience
Tableau experience an advantage
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
