Reporting to the Executive Director of Compliance, the Systems Control Manager is responsible for the development, management review of various operating systems for asset protection and risk mitigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local standards and guidelines, and in collaboration with IT, Security, Surveillance, Risk Management and Compliance. The Systems Control Program Manager will be responsible for the development and management of department related systems, operations control projects, and their alignment with organizational standards and strategic goals. This role will perform tests and reviews of all critical systems and associated processes to assess their functionality, effectiveness, and adherence to relevant compliance procedures, and follow-up with appropriate risk mitigation and improvements.The Systems Control Program Manager will provide strategic leadership and guidance on initiatives and operational decisions that result in improved operations, compliance audits, reduction of errors within systems, and reduction in fraudulent activity. This position includes implementation of innovative systems and integrations, analyzing current and future procedural needs, and performing internal reviews across supply chain to ensure consistency.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensures resort assets are protected through the assessment, evaluation, identification and implementation of procedures that may prevent damage to intellectual, financial or property assets.

Conduct analysis of operational reports to determine adherence to all regulations, policies and procedures and provide consultation on how to formally respond and remediate issues discovered.

Conduct reviews of policies and procedures to determine the impact and effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for enhancements.

Conduct compliance impact analysis when changes to systems, policies, procedures or regulations are made.

Analyze and interpret audit findings and reports to provide consultation advice to management on how to formally respond and remediate issues discovered.

Assists with the execution of organization-wide policies and procedures, compliance training, and safety regulations. Participate and implement department audit remedies and recommendations.

Provides leadership for design controls, risk management, and decisions on project development activities to ensure compliance with quality goals, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Responsible for driving continual process improvements, using data and analytics to identify opportunities for refinement.

Serve as a subject matter expert, communicating, and educating the broader project team on systems compliance requirements.

Prepare and support teams in external audits.

Maintain an organized and accurate system of records designed to keep management informed of key performance indicators and deadlines.

Conduct independent research on potential areas of interest, high priority, or high impact.

Plan the purpose, scope, and approach of reviews.

Prepare formal written report on the results of the research, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal controls and the extent of compliance.

Perform post-research follow-up to ensure that appropriate action is taken on recommendations.

Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Qualifications:

Minimum five (5) years of experience in systems control and/or as a senior level auditor with experience in the areas of audit, quality control or risk management.

Experience using casino management systems, preferably Synkros by Konami.

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field.

Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.

Demonstrated experience in the areas of quality assurance, internal controls, program effectiveness, program improvement, and/or regulatory matters relating to department policies and procedures.

Must possess current and demonstrated knowledge of procedural reporting.

Must have excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and managerial experience in leading teams on audits or projects.

Must demonstrate the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization.

Must be self-motivated, have an investigative mindset, and be able to work independently.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, and other relevant software is required.

Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking and work under pressure.

Project management experience is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in the use of discretion and confidentiality, as the Systems Control Manager will have access to confidential information.

Must obtain a NGCB Gaming License.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in an office setting within the resort.

Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

May be exposed to smoke.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.

Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.

Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Eye/hand coordination.

Use of standard office equipment.

Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
