Senior Human Resources Manager

LHH is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager in Vinings, GA. This employee oversees all HR and administrative operations focusing on recruitment, staffing, training, employee relations, and the management of HRIS and payroll processes. This role provides strategic leadership in HR and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with contracts and safety standards. The manager will also ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, acting as the primary liaison with relevant agencies.
The Human Resources Manager will lead and support the team in budget preparation and performance goal setting for the facility. This candidate must be available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management:
Act as the main contact for recruitment and selection efforts within the organization.
Oversee the HRIS to ensure employee documentation meets legal and reporting standards.
Organize and facilitate new employee orientations to promote a positive outlook on organizational goals.
Assess training needs to develop employee training programs, collaborating with safety initiatives.
Support management development to equip leaders with the necessary skills for executing the facility's strategic objectives.
Manage employee performance evaluations and address employee relations issues.
Plan and execute special events as needed.
HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits Oversight:
Administer employee benefits, including medical, health, 401(k), leave of absence management, workers' compensation, and disability claims.
Serve as a backup to the payroll manager to ensure timely payroll processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or a related discipline (Masters degree preferred).
5-8 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of HR-related laws and regulations.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a labor relations context is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Capable of interpreting corporate policies and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with plant personnel and other departments, while ensuring any issues are reported to the appropriate supervisor.
Strong leadership, teamwork, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Job Type:
Contract, 3 Months with potential to hire
Hybrid (One day onsite)
M-F, 9-5PM
Pay Details:
$45.00 to $52.00 per hour
