Alta Science and Engineering, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a Hydrogeologist Project Manager with experience in managing water resources projects. The position will be based in any of our offices (Boise, Kellogg, Moscow, or Spokane, WA). The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, personable, and detail-oriented individual who can work well on a team and independently, in a fast-paced environment. This is a Regular Full-Time (40 hrs/wk) benefited position.

Responsibilities:

Apply professional and technical experience to support and/or oversee hydrogeology and water resources projects.Provide support in the development and review of technical documents associated with CERCLA and State-led site investigation remedial action plan processes (including but not limited to risk assessments, remedial investigation/feasibility studies, data summary reports, workplans, etc.).Interpret hydrogeologic and environmental data.Provide technical support and oversight of water resources projects including planning, implementation, analysis, and reporting.Coordinate with project stakeholders including state, federal, and tribal agencies to ensure that project objectives and timelines are being met.Develop project scopes of work, task orders, and cost estimates. Manage project schedules, budgets, technical teams, and subcontractors.Support marketing and business development in water resources.Mentoring junior staff with the potential to supervise others.Foster client relationships and embody company culture.Minimum qualifications of successful applicant:

BS in geology, hydrology, or environmental science from an accredited university with classes in hydrogeology; MS preferred5+ years of experience with managing complex projects and interpreting hydrogeologic and environmental dataExperience developing and/or providing technical review of site assessments, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and other technical reports.Experience with CERCLA and related federal and state regulations and guidanceStrong technical writing and verbal communication skills, with attention to detailStrong scientific/technical capabilities, along with organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExperience with strong client relationships and business developmentAbility to travel periodically for site visits and meetingsStrong familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPointValid driver's license and insurable driving recordBenefits Include:
