Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced paralegal to join our dynamic real estate section. This position will assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions, including preparation and negotiation of loan documents; review of title, survey, and other due diligence; organization of pre- and post-closing documents; and management of transactions and closings. Responsibilities will include substantive legal research, project management, drafting of real estate documents, registration with state agencies and communications with state regulators.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent technical writing, communication, and analytical skills to independently review, draft, and prepare documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. An ability to manage multiple matters, set own work priorities and meet work deadlines is essential. Must be able to work independently as well as with a team. Position requires discretion, independent judgment, and critical thinking skills. Minimum of 2 years real estate experience with a law firm, title company, mortgage company, or other related entity. Paralegal degree and/or bachelor's degree are required.
