Assist attorneys with complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financings.
Conduct thorough title and survey reviews, identifying and resolving any issues that may impact closings.
Draft and manage critical legal documents, including contracts, lease agreements, closing statements, and amendments.
Collaborate with lenders, developers, and clients to facilitate seamless transaction closings.
Prepare detailed closing checklists and ensure all transactional deadlines are met.
Maintain organized and up-to-date real estate files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm and industry standards.
Research and stay current on real estate laws and regulations, providing timely updates to the legal team.
Participate in negotiations and due diligence reviews, playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate law at a law firm or in-house legal department.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks.
Strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships with clients, attorneys, and industry professionals.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, title, and survey analysis.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.
