TASKS OF THE POSITION• Research and strategically target new corporate relationships that result in new sponsorships, donationsand volunteer engagement.• Works in collaboration with the Manager, Volunteer Services to develop responsive corporate engagementplans matching Agency needs with each corporate partner philanthropic charter.Individual Giving• Lead the Manager of Individual Giving to effectively plan, and execute the Agency's planned annual appealsand individual fundraising plan with an emphasis and increasing the number of donors and revenue.• Lead the development of comprehensive plan for each appeal with identification of audience, dataanalysis so that financial goals are achieved.• Along with the Sr. Manager of Donor Engagement, create effective appeals to achieve fundraising goals.• Along with the CDO, create year-round stewardship plans for returning donors as well as cultivation plans forpotential donors; execute plans.Miscellaneous• Performs duties or other related tasks as directed or required by the CDO and CEO.• Serves as representative and spokesperson for the agency as needed.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES• Effective presence, verbal/written communication and presentation skills necessary to interact with a varietyof internal and external constituencies.• Experience in successfully securing corporate sponsorships and grants in excess of $25,000.• Computer literate with demonstrated knowledge of automated information management systems related todeveloping, monitoring and managing fund raising.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYOversees the Manager, Grants and Compliance, Grant Researcher and Manager Individual Giving
Requirements
QUALIFICATION (EDUCATION / TRAINING)Minimum Required:• A bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing or equivalent on the job experience.• Ten (10) years of progressive supervisory/administrative management experience.• Ten (10) years leading major fundraising function raising at least $500,000 annuallyPreferred:Certified Fund-Raising Executive via Association of Fund-Raising Professionals or equivalent professionalcertification
