Facilities & Construction Analyst

The Facilities & Construction Analyst would support Corp Facilities and construction. Functions would include analyzing project and PO spend, setting up projects in Labcorp systems, assisting Project Managers with contract submissions and other project related admin functions, maintaining Capital PO budget.
Other Responsibilities:
Performs research on problematic invoices, works with Accounts Payable & Sourcing and Procurement to find and fix issues so invoices can be paid.
Assist Project Managers with construction contracts, submit to Legal and track changes until completion.
Provide Dept. leadership regular reports showing budget progress of each PO. Analyze the portfolio to ensure Capital spend is within budget. If any POs are exceeding approved budget, obtains needed approval to use PO contingency funds. Analyze costs of each PO being managed for cost overruns, etc. Responsible for ensuring POs are under budget based on incoming invoices.
Ensure all contractors are approved and in the LabCorp systems. Process all invoices for payment and ensure that all invoices have LabCorp approval. Oversee any coding of Project Invoices to prepare for payment. Responsible for ensuring projects are under budget based on incoming invoices.
Set up approved projects in all needed LabCorp systems and send out Capital Project notifications to all stakeholders. Maintain and update Capital Project PO database.
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Demonstrates strong business vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills.
Demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter who can utilize problem-solving skills to generate creative solutions to complex issues.
Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, organized and diplomatic manner; listen to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions
Demonstrates the ability to function independently; resolve problems without direction.
Deals openly and honestly with people in all levels of the organization while building credibility and maintaining trust.
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
Demonstrates the ability to interact and participate effectively in a team environment; actively listen, confront issues and provide feedback to others on the team as well as internal and external customers, in a courteous and timely manner
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Associates degree in construction management with 5 years experience
High school diploma and 7+ years of progressive experience in facilities management/planning/construction management
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS preferred in Facilities related field
