The Role:
As theHR Generalist, reporting to the HR Manager - Site Operations, you will support regional and global Human Resources teams on matters relating, but not limited to recruiting and onboarding for new employees, benefits, time and attendance review, payroll, policies and procedures, records management, reporting, and site visits and events.
How You Will Make an Impact:
HR, Benefits, and Payroll SupportProvide timely assistance to employees with basic questions regarding payroll, leave of absence, HR policies, procedures, and corporate HR initiatives.Maintain positive employee relations by fostering effective working relationships with all stakeholders.Coordinate and support internship program including but not limited to onsite and offsite activities.Maintain accuracy and compliance within the Human Capital Management (HCM) system, ensuring up-to-date employee data.Deliver miscellaneous reports as requested and support data integrity for all HR processes.Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and job applicants.Provide support and information regarding FMLA, STD, LTD, and other leave policies, ensuring that employees understand their rights and obligations in line with federal/state laws and company guidelines.Support payroll processing, ensuring 100% accuracy, timely submission, and resolution of payroll issues.Review timecards and process payroll data, including premium pay.Process employee reimbursements in accordance with company policies.Recruiting and Onboarding Support
Assist in full-cycle recruitment efforts alongside the HR manager, including job postings, candidate screening, skills assessment and interview coordination.Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure compliance with onboarding and offboarding processes.Complete and verify I-9 documentation for all new employees.Coordinate fit-for-duty and return-to-work exams as required.Ensure compliance with all pre-employment and employment verification processes, including background checks and eligibility documentation.Training Compliance Reporting
Assist with organizing and supporting in-house and external training activities in conjunction with HR and other managers.Track and report on regional and/or global training compliance, ensuring completion of required annual trainings, such as NAVEX Code of Conduct (COC), Conflict of Interest (COI), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and Harassment-Free Workplace.Maintain accurate records of training completion and escalate issues of non-compliance as needed.Support managers and employees in completing mandatory training by providing regular updates and reminders.Administrative Support
Maintain and verify documentation related to recruitment, performance management, and employee records.Provide support for event coordination by assisting with logistics, scheduling, and communication to ensure successful execution of company events, meetings, and training sessions.Perform other HR and administrative duties as needed to support the sites and ensure business continuity.Creating Extraordinary Starts With:
High School DiplomaAssociate's degree in business related field or demonstrated equivalency preferredMinimum of two years of HR/HR Admin experienceExperience with time and attendance systems, preferably ADP (i.e. Workforce Now, Enterprise E-Time and payroll auditing and processing)Experience with HRIS data management & reporting, preferably Oracle HCMWhat We Value:
