Job Overview:

The

Director of Marketing

leads the development of all marketing strategies and tactics for Ledge, across D2C and B2B markets and all product brands in the portfolio. With a key focus on building the Ledge Brand and driving Revenue growth, this role will integrate all marketing efforts holistically across consumer touchpoints, both online and offline. This leader must be passionate about consumer-insights and driving those insights into our brand and product marketing, working closely with our Creative team, our Ecommerce teams, and our Product and Sales teams to deliver breakthrough, market-disrupting campaigns. In addition, this leader should be analytical and results-focused, bringing a clear view on KPIs and evaluative analytics to all programs and initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Leverage consumer insights, market trends, and business performance analytics to develop and execute the organization's annual marketing strategy, aligning it with overall business goals and objectives. This integrated marketing calendar will include product launches, pricing initiatives, promotions, trade/channel marketing, and overall campaign concepts / messaging for multiple customer segments and media channels.Translate the marketing plan into Revenue and Expense forecasts. Continuously assess the return on investment for marketing campaigns and adjust strategies, tactics and spending accordingly.Partner with the Ledge Creative team to build all marketing campaigns, messages, and tactical executions, and ensure all are executed with excellence - from creative brief through launch in market.Build marketing strategies to grow Ledge brand awareness and sales through paid and earned media, and drive all media planning and execution across all our consumer media channels. Oversee Social Media, including organic social & paid social creative/storytelling strategies, and drive all influencer marketing and affiliate marketing programs to deliver exposure and UGC. This may also extend to driving external brand partnership initiatives to expand our audience and salience. Drive Public Relations strategies in partnership with our outside agency to drive media coverage for Ledge and key promotional or product launch events.Develop breakthrough New Product Launch marketing - from product naming, pricing, and promotion strategies, to event planning and creative development, to integrated launch execution in market across all media channels.Provide regular updates to senior management on the performance of marketing initiatives, budget utilization, and strategic progress. Drive a culture of performance measurement and accountability for financial results delivery.Establish and maintain marketing operations processes to enhance efficiency and agility, fostering strong internal department relationships and coordination with external vendors.Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals and agencies, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.Serve as an internal champion of the Ledge Brand, educating and empowering team members across all departments to represent Ledge in a cohesive, on-brand manner.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Minimum of 6 years progressive Marketing experience; and minimum 2 years leading internal teams and external partners.Proven track record of developing marketing plans for a strong consumer-facing Brand in an omnichannel environment - with particular emphasis on direct-to-consumer sales activation.Self-motivated leader who is purposeful, decisive, adaptive, highly-communicative, and who works well in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments.Ability to think strategically while also functionally leading a team to drive execution delivering results. This is a "sleeves rolled up" company and position.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Expertise in budget management and financial forecasting.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Strong leadership, coaching and team management skills.Aptitude to work collaboratively across departments.Strong technology skills, with an ability to adapt to new systems and tools and work seamlessly with a hybrid team.
