Dinsmore is seeking a Litigation Paralegal at our Miami, FL location. The ideal candidate must have at least three years of experience in the area of commercial litigation with either a college degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate or experience equivalent. Strong knowledge and experience with discovery is a must, as well as knowledge accessing and reviewing court dockets.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality billable work and record time in accordance with client/firm policyConduct case research and investigationAnalyze and summarize medical and other related recordsManage collection, organization and production of electronic documentsDrafting of discovery and subpoenasWork with expert consultants and witnessesAssist multiple attorneys through all phases of litigationAvailability for limited travel to clients and other Dinsmore officeRequirements

Highly skilled, proactive and well-rounded litigation paralegalPerform high-quality billable work and have expertise in assisting attorneys through all phases of litigationPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and accuracy and confidentialitySuccessful candidate will possess strong technical and database skillsAll candidates must have knowledge and experience with discoveryDocument management experienceMust possess knowledge of state and federal court rules, as well as working knowledge of asbestos court docketsCollege degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent3+ years of paralegal experienceCandidates should also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized, have strong technical and database skills, and possess pre-trial experienceEqual Opportunity Employer
