About this role: Boston Scientific is looking for a Program Coordinator for our Electrophysiology (EP) Fellows, Emerging Leaders, and Societal Relations Team. This role will focus on the coordination and management of our national educational and training programs both on-site at our Arden Hills Headquarters, as well as off-site locations across the US throughout the year. Our training and education programs will include both didactic lectures as well as hands-on skills training. The Program Coordinator will work with the program manager and director to initiate, develop, and execute meetings and events that are aligned with the EP Fellows, Emerging Leaders, and Societal Programs strategy. Your responsibilities will include: Leads the development and execution of strategic meetings and events that support initiatives; recommends appropriate messages and tactics. Applies product and market knowledge throughout the process. Communicates proactively to all levels of management and stakeholders. Champions meeting & event strategies throughout the organization. Produces meetings & events ensuring consistency and collaboration while following established guidelines, processes and tools. Educates cross-functional teams, provides direction, and establishes solutions where appropriate. Fosters strong relationships with key customers, both internal and external. Participates in project teams outside of Communications and Programs. Serves as a liaison and event resource for initiatives. Partners with and manages vendors to ensure that initiatives meet objectives. Directs and initiates solutions in support of continuous improvement. Defines, tracks, and maintains budgets. Ensures cost-saving measures and spending within allocated amount. Participates in the development of department and franchise budgets, adhering to corporate priorities. Applies finance principles to the development of department and franchise budgets. Analyzes program impact and metrics for projects and/or launches. Provides recommendations and creates plans for continuous improvement. Maintains and enhances knowledge of meeting & event industry trends and best-in-class practices as related to responsibilities. Actively participates on the Meeting & Event Council providing strategic input. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience preferably in the medical device industry and or combination of education and experience. Candidate must have appetite for innovation and continuous learning. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with physician customers and sales teams. Works independently, receiving guidance on complex and unprecedented problems. Team Player, must be a strong communicator and collaborator. Ability to develop new processes and adjust practices as needed to meet business or team needs. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel 30% domestically. Experience working with vendors and negotiating contract agreements. Preferred qualifications: Previous experience with supporting systematic training in a field-based/lab-based setting, preferred CRM/EP and Fellows experience. Strong project management and organization skills; detail-oriented; methodical; Previous project management experience. Experience with database development and maintenance. CVENT or event management software experience. Ability to lift and transport supplies and equipment.
