Primary Purpose
Develops creative marketing strategies and leverages current marketing tools to execute campaigns through traditional and digital channels. Owns and manages digital marketing tools and resources. Plans and leads projects, supervises staff, and coordinates with other functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all platforms and channels. Oversees vendors, manages campaign budgets, and reports on the results of marketing program effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and executes marketing plans, strategy, and budget. Strengthens brand awareness and engagement by leading integrated marketing campaigns, owning all aspects of the campaign strategy, resources and tactics including creative, advertising, email, web pages, SEO, copywriting, and reporting. Establishes and tracks clear key performance indicators (KPI) to assess, optimize, and refine strategy. Ensures materials are on-strategy and meet brand and legal guidelines. Develops content strategies that engage target audiences and drive brand awareness and conversions. Writes, edits, and publishes high-quality content for various communications channels with an expert understanding of our corporate message map and brand voice. Collaborates with other content creators to produce multimedia content. Leads cross-functional teams to achieve campaign and business objectives. Creates or streamlines standard procedures, creates scopes of work, and operating budgets where needed. Manages vendors, budgets, and contracts.Owns corporate web properties and ensures alignment to best practices including accessibility, user experience, cybersecurity, and search engine optimization. Ensures website content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with current communications objectives. Identifies opportunities for improvement or enhancement based on trends, audits, and research to ensure our web presence is evolving and engaging. Leads designers, developers, and internal teams in conceptualizing, defining, and executing web projects. Drives SEO/SEM initiatives; analyzes traffic data to understand user behaviors and flows and recommend optimizations. Manages vendors, budgets, and contracts.Develops, tracks, analyzes, and reports on KPIs for digital marketing campaigns and communications channels; articulates successes and illustrates future opportunities. Defines target audiences and key stakeholders for each campaign and/or communications channel; analyzes and optimizes messaging or techniques to maximize engagement. Creates regular reports and presentations to inform teams and leaders of communications performance. Keeps up to date on current trends and practices and evaluates emerging technologies; provides recommendations, analysis, or perspective to teams or leaders when appropriate. Plans, executes, analyzes, and reports on experiments and tests.Oversees email campaigns and programs for internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for managing internal and external resources that support email communications functions.Directly supervises the daily workflow and operations of employees. Allocates resources to optimize the level of service and team performance. Coaches, mentors, and develops employees while fostering a spirit of teamwork and unity. Trains, motivates, monitors, and evaluates performance of employees.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Education
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field is required.Experience
8 years of demonstrable experience leading marketing and advertising campaigns, content development, data analysis, and reporting at a corporation or agency.Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.We offer a hybrid work environment. Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow you to work from the office three days per week and work remotely on the remaining workdays.Skills and Abilities
