Our Solutions team comprises of members with deep industry expertise who understand how customers operate their business, and particularly their procurement, within that industry. This includes technical systems used to manage procurement, organizational practices, industry regulations and relationships between players, etc. Further, the role must have a deep understanding of AB's technical capabilities to support customer procurement needs, including our API integration capabilities and selection mapping and pricing capabilities. The role leverages this expertise to match AB managed spend capabilities with the right customer solution, and/or embark on the design/development of a new customer solution when we have capability gaps.

Key job responsibilities

Create solution parameters for prioritization and quantify market opportunity across the solution segment in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance and GTMO teams

Lead customer facing value proposition and discovery, uncover customer interest and opportunity across defined use cases

Clarify and articulate the AB value proposition for market differentiation, internally and externally

Gather customer requirements across the end to end solution (e.g., ordering, catalog (selection & pricing), tech, payments, CS, etc.)

Own the roadmap for a beta (phased approach), and build with internal partner teams (Product/Tech, Marketing, Sales, Partners/BD) to drive MLP “minimum lovable product”

In partnership with the go-to-market teams, plan/build/ready/launch campaigns and support assets.

Develop strong written business cases to justify and prioritize AB’s investment. Demonstrate clear proof-of-concept.

Deliver results by championing to build long term, scalable solutions that will delight customers YoY

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

Experience owning external and internal communication including leading in-person or virtual meetings, product demonstrations, or trainings

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
